Administration holds the users, roles, assets, approved suppliers, stock items and locations that every mobile screen chooses from, so crews pick from controlled lists instead of typing.
In the app
The Administration menu
Menu names as they appear in the MiracleTek app. Administration opens from the Workflow map: Users, roles, assets, suppliers.
How it works
Setting up a site
- UsersAdd users and assign roles. Employee ids, work class and supervisor are set by administrators, with a second person approving.
- AssetsBuild the register by hand or import a CSV file from the template.
- SuppliersAdd suppliers. Only approved suppliers can be chosen on a purchase order.
- Warehouse and SettingsAdd stock items and locations, create divisions and depots, and set the quote threshold and approval PIN.

Approvals and controls
Controlled lists, controlled changes
- Second-person approvalEmployee ids, work class and supervisor need a second person to approve. Employees cannot change their own work class.
- Approved suppliers onlyNew suppliers are approved before they can be used on a purchase order.
- Check backup fileA saved backup can be checked before anyone relies on it, without changing any record.
- Recent changesChanges made in Settings and the other administration screens are listed under Recent changes.
